About
Rep. Andrea Verobish is honored to be serving her first term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, defending her core values of faith, family and freedom for the people of the 79th Legislative District.
Andrea comes to Harrisburg determined to defend life at all stages, protect the Second Amendment rights of Pennsylvanians, defend common sense, preserve Pennsylvania energy, stop Gov. Josh Shapiro’s plan to legalize recreational marijuana, and fight tax hikes and reckless spending.
After graduating with a Master of Public Administration Degree from Gannon University, Andrea began her career as a representative of AmeriCorps, serving as a liaison between Indiana University of Pennsylvania and over 50 nonprofit agencies. She then managed data entry, data maintenance and data correction in the Greater Johnstown School District’s student information system before a brief stint as the Main Street Manager for the Hollidaysburg Community Partnership.
That’s when Andrea’s career in public service took off, starting with a position as an income maintenance caseworker with the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. She then served as a legislative aide to Sen. John H. Eichelberger Jr. in the 30th State Senatorial District, before starting as a field representative for Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson.
Andrea is a proud resident of Allegheny Township, where she lives with her husband, Don, and her daughters, Samantha and Amelia. She plays an active role in her church community and her daughters’ school.
